Shandong thrash Shenzhen, rise to top of Chinese Super League

Shandong Taishan beat Shenzhen 4-0 at home in Jinan, east China's Shandong Province, on Friday, securing their fourth win of the season and taking the lead in the Chinese Super League (CSL) with 13 points after six games.

All four of Shandong's goals were netted in the first half within 26 minutes. In the fourth minute, Guilherme Madruga cut the ball from Jiang Zhipeng for Zeca to feed Valeri Qazaishvili for a curling effort that flies into the top corner of the goal, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead.

Two minutes later, Liu Yang earned the home side a free kick on the left edge of the box. Li Yuan took a shot that bounced to the ground and then into Shenzhen's goal while goalkeeper Ji Jiabao made no response at all, watching the opponents advantage grow to two goals.
